Admission procedures for the school year 2025-2026

(1)The arrangement of distribute the application form

Date: 2^rdJuly 2024 to 2^rd November 2024
The quantity of distribution: no limited amount
The method of distribution:
Application forms can be downloaded from our school website from 2^rdJuly 2024
Application forms can be obtained at our school office start from 2^rd July 2024

(2)The arrangement of application submission

Date: 2^rdJuly 2024 to 2^rd November 2024
No limit on quantity of submissions
Please submit the application form to school directly or by Post with the following documents:

Photocopy of Birth Certificate
Photocopy of Immunization Record (with the cover page)
One photo (1.5 inch) attached to the Application From right hand corner
Three $2.2- stamped self-addressed envelopes (If you submit the application form by Post, need four stamped self-addressed envelopes)
Submit the application fee: HK$40.-
(If you submit the application form by Post, please pay by cheque and make your crossed cheque payable to “Tsuen Wan Trade Association Chu Cheong Kindergarten”.)

Once we receive an application, our school will distribute / post one “Interview card”.

(3)The arrangement of interview

The kindergarten will arrange interview for all applicants
The interview will be held on 3^rdNovember 2024 (Sunday)

(4)The conduct of interview

Applicants will be interviewed accompanied by parents
Conversation and games will be utilized
When interview with non-Chinese speaking (NCS) children, if necessary, the school can arrange English translation services, or parents can arrange to be accompanied by relatives and friends who understand Chinese to assist in communication.

(5)The priorities and criteria for acceptance

The first priority and criteria

– Brother / Sister is a current student
– Father / Mother is a current staff member

The second priority and criteria

– Father / Mother / Brother / Sister is a graduate of our school

The third priority and criteria

– Performance during interview

* The school will give priority to the social needs of the parents of the whole day class students.

(6)Arrangement for Notification of Application Results

All the Applicants who are being interviewed will receive a letter of notification for being accepted or rejected before 15^thNovember 2024 by post.
For the successful applicants,

– “Centralized Registration dates” for accepted applicants are on 2^nd January 2025 to 4^th January 2025, please come to our school to register.
– Hand in the register certificate for 2025-2026
– Pay the half-day class registration fee $970.-, whole-day class registration fee $1570.-.
– If parents decide to transfer their children to another school after registration, please notify the school in writing.
The school will return the relevant registration certificate, but the registration fee will not be refunded. After the registration certificate is retrieved, the school will not reserve a place for the child.

For waiting list applicants,

– If accepted applicants haven’t registered during the register period, seen as given up the application, and our school will inform students on the waiting list by call.

For rejected applicants,

– Parents can refer to the K1 vacancy information released by EDB at the beginning of February 2025.
